CO2 Emissions Avoided

300 ton/y of CO2

Challenge

The largest oil company in the world, Saudi Aramco, set the priority to cut liquid fuels in its production, processing and utility sites, as part of the decarbonization of its core processes. Solar thermal is required to supply boiler feedwater pre-heating up to 174ᣞC even when covered by dust to cut the sensible heat demand from 3 different boilers.

Solution

TVP integrates 3 separate water-to-water heat exchangers, controlled by same SCADA, delivering energy at required temperature without any panel cleaning (recording only 15% yearly energy losses from soiling effect)
