TVP is the highest expert in the world for high-vacuum applied to panels. By suppressing thermal losses from convection, the mastery of high vacuum plays a crucial role in ensuring maximum energy transfer from the sun to usable heat.
TVP high-vacuum insulation technology creates a new class of super-performing products and in addition, improves the overall system efficiency. Thermal Vacuum Power Charged™ technology uniquely allows to consistently deliver a massive amount of solar thermal energy above 100°C, to tackle most of the industrial applications requiring either medium temperature heat from 80 to 200°C or low pressure steam up to 10 bar; this huge addressable market cannot be served by traditional solar thermal collectors

Massive energy delivered
System
TVP engineered a modular layout of the solar plant for large scale deployments to maximize energy delivery to the end-clients. Long strings of panels exploit the patented heat absorber piping with parallel flow under vacuum to minimize overall system thermal losses.
Their minimum pressure drop minimizes HTF circulating pump size and related electricity consumption. TVP custom crimped connectors suppress any water leakage of the system. Triangular or multi-layer support structures are used to adapt to either rooftop or ground mounting. Pre-insulated piping are deployed either aboveground or underground, crimped or welded.
The PLC-based SCADA manages the plant to work automatically and unattended. Has remote monitoring feature. Runs a variable flow rate of the HTF in the solar field loop to maximize thermal energy production in respect to real-time gathered irradiance inputs.
Thermal storage tank solutions, heat exchangers and application machineries (steam drum, ISG, MVR, absorption chiller, MED, etc) are also supplied and integrated if requested. We are ISO 9001 and 14001 certified regarding our EPC practices and processes.

Manufacturing
TVP engineered its production line layout and related workflow to maximize automation, production throughput and yield. Layout modularity has been pursued to facilitate replication, thus production capacity scalability. The production line relies on full insourcing of key machining, 30 in total out of which 6 TVP proprietary (dedicated to vacuum-tight sealing, welding and brazing, high-vacuum conditioning and leak detection) and 15 co-developed by TVP.
TVP developed a proprietary SCADA to perform tracking of processed and assembled part numbers, product traceability, real-time monitoring and data gathering for each industrial process; it is integrated with a statistical process control system which allows to assess the performance of each process, production machinery and line operator as well as to guide predictive maintenance and troubleshooting. We are ISO 9001 certified regarding our manufacturing practices and processes
